The National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center provides education and consultation to help health care organizations improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and other sexual and gender minority people. Its learning resources include webinars, publications, interactive modules, videos, toolkits, and a glossary, with selected materials eligible for continuing medical education credit. The Center also offers technical assistance, speakers, distance learning, and Project ECHO programs, including Trans ECHO and the Opioid Response Network.
Its training and resource library addresses topics such as inclusive care, suicide prevention, workforce well-being, oral health for people with HIV, disaster-related public health needs, and anal cancer screening. The organization convenes conferences focused on advancing excellence in transgender health and sexual and gender minority health, and provides CME and CEU opportunities. Through these services, the Center supports health care teams and organizations seeking practical knowledge, training, and guidance to create safer, more responsive care for LGBTQIA+ communities
