Liah Roebuck

Liah Roebuck Bridal is a bespoke bridal design business based in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. Owned and operated by designer Liah Hughes (Roebuck), the studio has created wedding dresses and accessories locally for around ten years. Liah works one-on-one with brides to shape each gown around their personal style, from the first design sketches and pattern making through fittings, finishing and dress delivery. Designs are described as modern, elegant and stylish, often featuring delicate lace, soft sheer fabrics and romantic details.

Brides can commission a fully custom-made dress, starting at $4,000, or choose from a small studio selection of one-off, off-the-rack gowns priced from $1,500 to $3,500, with alterations available. Existing gowns can also provide a starting point for a personalised design. The studio sells bridal accessories, including veils and robes, with prices starting at $100 and shipping available. Dresses and products are designed, handcrafted and fitted in Liah’s local studio, with a focus on careful workmanship and personal service.
