Libby Loggers

Libby Loggers American Legion Baseball represents Post 97 in Libby, Montana, carrying on a longstanding tradition of baseball and community involvement. The program fields A and B teams for players ages 15 to 19, with a focus on developing young athletes through teamwork, dedication, and a shared love of the game. Player registration is offered for the season, alongside published schedules for both teams and information about tournaments hosted at Lee Gehring Field, also known as the Lumberyard.

These summer tournaments are a central part of the Loggers’ program and welcome teams and baseball families to the area. The organization also invites community members to volunteer and offers opportunities to sponsor the teams and support their activities. Its website provides details about registration, schedules, tournaments, rules and waivers, and ways to get involved.

A video produced by the Libby Chamber of Commerce highlights the field’s scenic setting, the players’ enthusiasm, and the community spirit surrounding baseball in Libby
