Liberty Horse Association

The International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA) is an organization dedicated to promoting the Liberty discipline and celebrating the horses, trainers, and enthusiasts involved in Liberty horsemanship. It brings together a community focused on the connection between horse and human through trust, freedom, and training. Members can connect with fellow Liberty enthusiasts, share their experiences, earn awards, learn about the discipline, and access exclusive discounts to Liberty events, along with behind-the-scenes updates.

The ILHA supports regional clubs that host shows, clinics, and other community events. Its competitions offer 16 classes and more than 70 patterns, with options for different experience levels, ages, and skill categories, from Novice to Advanced and Youth to Senior. Events include virtual and specialty shows, invitational freestyle events, club shows, and championships, giving participants opportunities to showcase their abilities in person or online.

The association also organizes the Liberty Festival, celebrating Liberty horsemanship through performances and educational opportunities. Its Life at Liberty podcast features stories about Liberty, horses, and the people who care for them.
