Libourne Aéro-Club

Libourne AéroClub is a flying club and approved pilot-training organisation based at Libourne–Les Artigues de Lussac aerodrome in southwestern France. Dedicated to recreational aviation and flight education, the club welcomes people curious about flying as well as those ready to pursue a private pilot qualification. Visitors can book an introductory flight or an air baptism; introductory sessions include a briefing with an instructor and the opportunity to take the controls.

The club also provides pilot training through its approved training organisation and offers the Aeronautical Initiation Certificate (BIA), with courses for school-age students. Its facilities support general aviation, with an 800-metre grass runway, a 1,100-metre paved runway, and 100LL fuel. The aerodrome also has a restaurant and is accessible from Libourne, Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux.

The club describes its training aircraft as a modern-generation model and also has a touring aircraft. Members and visitors can enjoy local flights and trips, including views of the Dordogne and the Arcachon Basin
