Libracoaching is a coaching and support practice founded in 2011 by Marianne Plat, whose experience as a job coach inspired a broader approach to helping people find balance in their lives. The practice is based on the idea that difficulties at home, in daily circumstances or with behaviour can affect a person’s ability to function. Its guidance is tailored to each individual rather than delivered through a standard programme. Coaches work collaboratively with clients, focusing on their needs, strengths and practical ways forward.
Libracoaching offers support to people with mild intellectual disabilities, mild psychological challenges and autism spectrum disorder. It also provides guidance related to autism and attachment, including exploring a person’s stage of attachment development and offering practical approaches to encourage further development. Marianne is joined by coach Eva van der Borg, who became part of the practice in 2024 and has a psychology background. Across its services, Libracoaching aims to help people work towards personal goals while respecting individual boundaries and abilities.
