Librăria lui Andrei is a Romanian bookstore in Germany, created with love by our family: mom, dad, and Andrei. We are passionate book lovers and a young reader. From the beginning, we divided the tasks: Andrei, our avid little reader, recommends his favorite books every week, draws beautiful illustrations that convey the messages of the books, and most importantly, he inspires us every day. Dad, a novice in children's books but a master of technology, always supports our artistic endeavors and keeps us grounded. As for me, mom, I am the creative dreamer of the family, always ready to read stories to the children.

The project was born out of our personal need to read books in Romanian and not forget our roots. As travelers living in Berlin for almost nine years, we realized that Romanian books were scarce. We love Romania, we love Romanian books, and we are delighted to see the growing children's book market in Romania. We wanted Andrei to discover more about Romanian authors and illustrators, to meet them in person. Our book collection includes books that are dear to us, with diverse themes and powerful messages that answer children's questions. The illustrations are carefully chosen, as we have noticed that Andrei always selects books based on the illustrations that create an emotional connection for him. We firmly believe that the habit of daily reading nurtures in childhood.
