Librarians and Archivists with Palestine

**Librarians and Archivists with Palestine (LAP)** is a dedicated network of librarians, archivists, and information professionals who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people's quest for self-determination. The organization engages in various activities aimed at raising awareness and support for the Palestinian struggle. One of their flagship initiatives, "One Book, Many Communities," encourages community reading and discussion, fostering deeper understanding and connections through literature.

LAP provides a wealth of resources, including toolkits, event guides, and a censorship tracker to document restrictions on information. Their ongoing campaigns address pressing issues such as the recent Israeli damage to cultural heritage in Gaza, highlighting the crucial role of libraries and archives in preserving knowledge. Additionally, LAP organizes community events, fundraisers like the Yafa and Lajee initiative, and educational zines, promoting solidarity and activism within the information profession. By collaborating on projects and sharing vital research, LAP aims to amplify the voices of Palestinians and contribute to a more informed dialogue surrounding their experiences.
