LIBRARY.CL is a digital library, repository, and archive dedicated to preserving scientific and literary works by Chilean and international authors. The platform invites anyone to participate: registered users can publish their work for free, discover material from other contributors, and help preserve knowledge for future readers. Its collection spans research articles, reviews, books, fiction, poetry, personal journals, biographies, photographs, documents, and other files, alongside audiobooks and audio recordings. Authors can also create polls and organize materials into collections.

LIBRARY.CL serves scientists, teachers, students, writers, researchers, archivists, publishers, and public figures. The site says it shares information about posted publications with partner libraries, social networks, and search engines, and aims to help authors protect their copyrights, connect with potential partners and investors, and increase scholarly citations. Visitors can browse new arrivals across texts and multimedia, explore authors and subject areas, or join and log in to contribute. Its mission is to preserve the past, collect the present, and support the creation and circulation of knowledge.
