Lichtenstein Trail & Trailcamp

Lichtenstein Trail is a trail-running event held in Lichtenstein-Unterhausen, on the edge of the Swabian Alb in Germany. The event welcomes runners and spectators and presents its races as both a rewarding destination in their own right and preparation for later trail-running challenges in the Alps. The 2027 programme takes place on 8 May and features two competitions: the Schlössle-Trail, an 11-kilometre course with 500 metres of elevation gain, and the Lichtenstein Trail Half Marathon, covering 22 kilometres with 900 metres of elevation gain.

Participants can find race information, course details, GPX downloads, regulations, registration guidance and results through the event’s website. Half-marathon entry includes an attractive starter package, a marked route, on-course refreshments, finish-line refreshments, online results and certificates, and access to changing rooms and showers at Lichtensteinhalle. The event also provides age-group and overall competition categories, race-day schedules, travel information and updates through a newsletter.

With limited fields and a family-friendly atmosphere, Lichtenstein Trail offers an organised race experience for trail runners of different levels
