About Lichtergarten
Illumina is an enchanting light garden located in Schlosspark Laxenburg, Austria, inviting visitors to embark on a magical journey through stunning light displays from November 15, 2024, to January 12, 2025. Stretching over a 3-kilometer illuminated path, Illumina showcases spectacular water, laser, and light shows, along with unique installations by international artists, many debuting in Austria for the first time. This year features the return of the talking tree and mesmerizing video mapping on the Franzensburg.
Illumina offers a family-friendly atmosphere with special discounted tickets available on Mondays and Thursdays, allowing two adults and three children to enjoy the experience at a reduced rate. To enhance accessibility, a shuttle bus operates from Vienna every weekend, making it convenient for families to visit.
