Long Island Bicycle Co-Op is a nonprofit community bike shop committed to promoting cycling and sustainability. The organization specializes in taking unwanted bicycles, giving them new life through repair, and distributing them freely to members of the community in need. They aim to empower individuals by providing access to bicycles while fostering a spirit of generosity and environmental responsibility.

In addition to bike refurbishing, Long Island Bicycle Co-Op offers educational opportunities, including bike-related classes for both children and adults. These classes cover a range of topics, from basic bike maintenance to safe riding practices, nurturing a deeper understanding and appreciation of cycling within the community.

By donating unwanted bikes or contributing monetarily, supporters can play a vital role in sustaining this valuable resource, creating a cycle of giving that transforms lives and encourages healthier, more environmentally friendly transportation options. Embrace the ride with Long Island Bicycle Co-Op—where community and cycling come together.
