Lidarvisor is a browser-based platform for processing aerial LiDAR data and drone imagery into survey-ready maps and other deliverables. Designed for professionals in land surveying, utility vegetation management, forestry, and hydrology, it brings point-cloud viewing, preprocessing, classification, terrain modeling, and feature extraction into one cloud-based workflow. Users upload LAS or LAZ files, or drone photos, start automated processing, and download the results without installing specialist software or tuning parameters.
The platform classifies point clouds into categories such as ground, vegetation, buildings, wires, poles, water, and vehicles. It can generate digital terrain and surface models, hillshade maps, contours, building footprints, roof outlines, tree features, and infrastructure features. Outputs are available in industry-standard formats, including LAS, TIFF, DXF, SHP, and GeoJSON, with layered DXF maps prepared for editing in CAD software. Photogrammetry tools can create colored point clouds and orthophotos from drone images, with control points marked automatically. Lidarvisor also offers a 3D viewer, project sharing, documentation, and an API for automation. A free option includes processing up to 50 hectares.
