LIDER KATOWICE

UKS Lider Katowice is a youth biathlon club based in Katowice, Poland, offering young people the opportunity to learn and develop in the sport. The club supports athletes through coaching, structured training, competition and a close-knit sporting community. Its activities combine endurance, technical skill and concentration, with training adapted to the seasons.

In winter, athletes focus on cross-country skiing, technique and specialist practice at biathlon targets. Summer training includes running, cycling, mountain hikes, swimming and sports games; more advanced participants also train on roller skis. Shooting is an important part of the programme, and even the youngest athletes practise this skill. The club shares information about its athletes, coaches, results, achievements and training locations, and welcomes new participants from Katowice and nearby areas. Sessions take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. at Primary School No. 18 in Katowice. UKS Lider Katowice also invites sponsors and supporters to help young biathletes pursue their goals, including through Poland’s 1.5% tax-donation scheme.
