Lidl Connect is Lidl’s mobile communications brand in Austria, offering prepaid services designed for both occasional callers and frequent data users. Its plans cover voice calls, messaging and mobile internet, with options to suit different needs and no contract commitment or activation fee. The service operates on the network of Hutchison Drei Austria, with advertised download speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s.
Customers can buy a SIM card in more than 250 Lidl stores or order one online; an eSIM is also available. New users can register and activate their SIM online or in store, choose a plan, and manage or top up their balance through the Lidl Connect app or account manager. Customers may transfer their existing phone number at no charge.
In addition to SIM-only service, Lidl Connect offers phones, routers, tablets, kids’ watches and accessories. The free Lidl Plus app provides access to additional discounts and offers.
