Lievito nella Farina ONLUS is an Italian nonprofit association focused on supporting vulnerable people and communities, with particular attention to children in Kananga. Its work is guided by the belief that practical assistance can help create a better future for people facing hardship. The association raises funds for tangible projects intended to meet community needs, including the construction and development of a hospital.
The hospital is now active, and the organization continues to seek contributions for useful medical equipment for the doctors and volunteers who provide care to pregnant women, people who are ill or in need, and children. Supporters can help through donations, including the Italian five-per-thousand tax allocation, or by volunteering and sharing the association’s mission with others. Lievito nella Farina also publishes updates about its projects and explains how people can get involved.
Its message is that even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference, helping provide care and support to people who have few resources
