The Life 2 Project supports women recovering from domestic and family abuse, with a focus on making healing accessible to those facing financial hardship. Its mission is to help women heal, feel empowered, build awareness and connect with a supportive community, so they can move toward freer and fuller lives. Through a social enterprise model, the project offers subsidized or no-cost places when funding is available.

Its services include one-day workshops, a ten-week workshop series, three-day retreats and private follow-up sessions. Programs provide gentle emotional-release processes and practical strategies to help participants manage stress and anxiety, reconsider limiting beliefs, change unhelpful habits and build resilience. Private sessions are available in person, by phone or online.

The project’s approach is guided by four pillars: Heal, Empower, Educate and Connect. Its educational content covers areas such as health and wellness, financial empowerment, relationships and personal development. Founder Jane Sleight-Leach developed the work from her own recovery journey and later trained as a practitioner.
