Life Beyond Disabilities (LBD) is a Maryland-based, DDA- and OHCQ-licensed organization established in 2010 to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Harford Counties, as well as Baltimore City, LBD focuses on helping people build independence, pursue personal goals, and participate meaningfully in their chosen communities. Its person-centered approach emphasizes dignity, respect, choice, and collaboration with individuals, families, caregivers, and community partners.

LBD offers community living support in group homes and other residential arrangements, helping individuals live as independently as possible. Personal support is available at home or in community settings and may assist with daily activities, meal preparation, and medication management. The organization also provides respite care in the family home, nursing support that includes care management and delegated services, and transportation to appointments and community activities. Services are tailored to individual needs and may be funded through government programs or private pay.
