Life Beyond Horizons is a support organisation based in Wolverhampton, helping people across the city and surrounding area. Its services are open to anyone who needs someone alongside them, whether they have a learning disability, autism, cognitive difficulty, mental health challenges, frailty, or experience isolation. Support is shaped around each person’s needs, preferences and pace.

The organisation provides personal assistance at home, including help with personal care and everyday routines, as well as companionship. One-to-one support can also cover daily living skills, paperwork, budgeting, advocacy and building confidence. Its day centre offers a welcoming place for learning, art, music, crafts and company, where people are known by name. Individual “Find Your Hobby” programmes are built around activities each person enjoys.

Life Beyond Horizons also supports people to access their community and practise independence through activities such as travel, shopping, appointments and visits to parks. The organisation invites volunteers to help with activities, trips, gardening or companionship, and offers paid opportunities for support workers and personal assistants.
