About LifeLine Animal Project
LifeLine Animal Project is the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia, dedicated to ending the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in shelters. We manage the Fulton and DeKalb County Animal shelters and provide enforcement services for Fulton County. Our mission is to address the root causes of animal homelessness and ensure accessible pet care for our community, with the goal of keeping people and pets together.
At LifeLine, we not only offer adoption services but also provide spay/neuter services and general wellness care through our top-notch veterinary clinics. We have performed over 150,000 free or low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, preventing unwanted pets and promoting responsible pet ownership. Additionally, we have expanded our foster program, placing 50% of our pets in loving homes, as we believe pets thrive in homes rather than shelters.
In 2019, we opened the LifeLine Community Animal Center, featuring a full-service, low-cost veterinary clinic. We also offer community support to struggling pet owners and have been selected to pioneer the Human Animal Support Services initiative. Join us in redefining humane care for animals and keeping people and pets together.
