Life Trust is a registered Trust, whose aim is to work primarily with the poor and underprivileged people like the orphans, widows and the destitute to ease their suffering. In Kabwe, LIFE TRUST founded and supported Buyantanshi Open Christian Community Schools (BOCCS) for the past 20 years and is still the main donor of BOCCS, which offer a chance for more than 2,000 vulnerable children to attend school. Due to the gazetting of five BOCCS-Schools in 2017 the management decided to hand the administration of BOCCS over to its partner church C.C.C. and to reduce the active involvement in the day to day management as well as the financial support within the following years. In 2018 LIFE TRUST successfully registered the LIFE TRUST SCHOOL WAYA, which LIFE TRUST originally initiated in 1998 as a BOCCS-School and which was already funded, supported and managed for the past twenty years through LIFE TRUST. The school in Waya was excluded from the handing over of BOCCS to the partner church C.C.C. and instead became a private institution under LIFE TRUST. In order to improve the school, to find more well wishers and to provide quality education to the most vulnerable children in Waya, the management decided to register the school as a Trust School for the benefit of the community. LIFE TRUST runs and manages all school related programs, from education to the daily feeding of the pupils. LIFE TRUST strongly involves the parents and the community.
