About Lifewire
Lifewire is a charitable online crowdfunding platform based in Hong Kong, with a mission to assist individuals in need. They are the first platform in Hong Kong to prioritize patient-led initiatives, bringing together patients, donors, supporters, and medical experts. Lifewire aims to provide a channel for those in need to receive help.
Founded in 2014 by the Junhao Development Group, Lifewire operates independently. They personally visit and document the stories of child patients, providing a real and intimate look at their rare diseases and the challenges their families face. Lifewire focuses on raising funds for long-term medical and rehabilitation expenses, promoting awareness and education about rare diseases, and supporting patients and families facing financial burdens and misunderstandings.
