About Plant Something LI
Long Island Flower Growers Association (LIFGA) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to supporting Long Island horticulture and the green industry. Established in 1959, LIFGA is open to all local floricultural professionals, businesses, and educational institutes. We welcome memberships from growers, wholesalers, retailers, suppliers, and allied tradesmen.
Our mission is to increase awareness, education, and appreciation of plant diversity. LIFGA serves as a regional center of expertise in greenhouse management, landscape design, and best practices. We support academic research projects and continuing education programs related to landscape plants.
Our area specializes in growing and selling a variety of plant material, including foliage, flowering house plants, bedding plants, gift plants, cut flowers, perennials, annuals, and ground covers.
