Lift New Mexico

Lift Family Care is a New Mexico agency that helps families arrange and manage care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Medicaid waiver programs. Its approach gives families the freedom to choose trusted caregivers, including relatives, friends, and community members, while the agency supports onboarding, training, paperwork, payroll, and compliance. The goal is to reduce administrative burdens and direct more support toward the people providing care.

For participants on the New Mexico DD Waiver, Lift offers Family Living for caregivers who live with the person they support, with rates of up to $144 per day, and Community Supports (CCS-I) at $30 per hour, including for participants under 18. Caregivers are paid weekly, and families can build care teams and schedules around their needs while staying within approved budgets. Lift also supports self-directed families using the Mi Via Waiver statewide, with a low vendor fee. The agency provides guidance to participants, caregivers, and case managers, and offers contact by phone, text, or email.
