Liga Cordobesa

Liga Cordobesa Contra el Cáncer is a healthcare organization based in Montería, Córdoba, dedicated to cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment. With more than 45 years of experience, it brings together a team of medical specialists and uses diagnostic technology to provide integrated, personalized care with an emphasis on quality and compassionate service.

Its services include outpatient consultations in specialties such as urology, gynecology, and dermatology; diagnostic support through clinical laboratory testing, X-rays, mammography, cytology, cardiovascular tests, and electrocardiograms; and procedures including colposcopy, endoscopy, and biopsies. The organization also conducts campaigns and community brigades focused on early detection of prostate, breast, and skin cancers, and offers online appointment scheduling.

Alongside its clinical services, the Liga provides a patient support program called Posadita and invites the community to support its mission through donations and volunteering. It works with health institutions, clinical laboratories, and insurance companies to help deliver care. Through its medical services and prevention initiatives, the organization aims to make cancer detection and support accessible to the people it serves.
