B Lab is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to certifying B Corporations, which are businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance. The B Corp Certification signifies a company’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and sustainable practices that benefit all stakeholders, including workers, customers, and the environment. Unlike traditional business certifications, B Lab employs a rigorous evaluation process that assesses a company's entire impact on society and the environment through the B Impact Assessment.

B Lab offers various programs and tools to support businesses on their journey to certification, including guidance tailored for small enterprises, large corporations, and everything in between. Companies aiming for certification must achieve a score of 80 or above on their impact assessment and undergo recertification every three years, maintaining their focus on continuous improvement. By fostering a community of certified B Corps, B Lab champions the movement toward a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy, helping brands cultivate trust and attract like-minded investors and customers.
