Lighthouse Beginnings is a nonprofit Recovery Community Organization based in Baxter, Minnesota, serving individuals and families across Crow Wing, Cass, Morrison, Todd, and Aitkin Counties. Its mission is to support people exploring recovery by honoring different pathways and meeting each person where they are. Guided by lived experience, trained peer professionals offer relationship-based support to help people build stability, connection, purpose, and independence.

Services include peer recovery and mental health support, recovery planning, wellness groups, WRAP, mentoring, and resource navigation. The Baxter Drop-In Center provides a welcoming community space, basic-needs assistance, groups, transportation help, and access to housing, employment, and benefits resources. Lighthouse also offers recovery and supportive housing assistance, help with housing applications and landlord communication, and employment and vocational support, including resume preparation and interview practice. Reentry services support people involved in the justice system with planning and connections to housing, work, transportation, and community resources. Additional programming includes veteran support and public support groups.
