LightLeapAI® develops technology for higher education, including Meridian, an application platform designed to help institutions build and manage software around their needs. Users describe an application in plain language; Meridian proposes a data model for review, then provisions a governed, isolated tenant with its own database, records, and APIs. The platform supports student information systems and can also be used to create other applications, such as HR, asset-management, or law-firm practice systems.

Meridian includes tools for designing data objects and fields, managing roles and permissions, administering tenants, and working with records through a browser-based data studio using natural language or SQL. Its applications receive versioned REST APIs with OpenAPI documentation, and users can extend workflows, rules, and interfaces through conversation with the Omnia assistant. Changes are previewed, approved, and audited, with controls intended to support governance and compliance.
