Light Years Ahead Academy is a childcare and early-learning provider serving families in Central Florida through campuses in Altamonte Springs and Apopka. It cares for children from six weeks to 12 years old, offering full- and part-time places, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The academy’s programs include infant and preschool care, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, before- and after-school care, and camps, including spring break camp. It also accepts Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) and School Readiness (4C) programs.

The academy describes its approach as nurturing, inclusive, and focused on each child’s individual needs and development. Its Learning Beyond Paper curriculum uses hands-on experiences and interactive activities to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and school readiness, with STEAM integration. Educators support children’s physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth while fostering respect for different cultures, identities, and abilities. The campuses provide secure learning environments, playground facilities, and nutritious cooked meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
