About Ligue des droits et libertés
The Ligue des droits et libertés, founded in 1963, is a non-profit, independent, and non-partisan organization dedicated to defending and promoting the universality, indivisibility, and interdependence of all human rights. They offer a wide range of products and services to support their mission. They advocate for the right to health, freedom of association, rights of individuals in detention and carceral issues, economic, social, and cultural rights, rights of indigenous peoples, environment and human rights, freedom of expression, right to protest, and political profiling, migration and refugees, police and surveillance mechanisms, racism, social exclusion, and secularism of the state.
They publish the Revue Droits et libertés and provide educational tools and resources. They organize events, workshops, and training sessions. The Ligue des droits et libertés is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to uphold their fundamental rights and liberties
