About liiteGuard
Liiteguard is a brand founded by a former professional football player and a sports physiotherapist. It all started in June 2016 when Christopher Geertsen reached out to physiotherapist Nicklas Falkesgaard for help with his knee problems. While discussing their shared experiences with footballers, they identified a need for a product that could solve some of the problems they had encountered.
Their solution was a unique compression sock and shin guard. The Liiteguard shin guard weighs only 75 grams but is the same size as the most popular guards on the market. It is made from a special material that can be shaped to fit perfectly.
The guard fits securely in the Liiteguard sock, eliminating the need for tape or underwrap. The sock provides a compressive effect throughout the lower leg, reducing muscle aches and stiffness. It also offers extra tight compression on the Achilles tendon to alleviate pain.
With a silicone coating under the foot sole, the sock prevents slipping in the boot. The material used for the sole, SoftAir Plus, wicks away sweat for a drier and more comfortable experience.
