Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions is an adventure education company offering wilderness fly fishing programs for middle and high school students. Founded in 2010, the organization combines fishing instruction with outdoor adventure, environmental education, leadership development, and service learning to help inspire young people to become future conservationists. Its teen academies and expeditions are designed for participants who enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors, and are more immersive than conventional lodge-based camps or summer tours.
Programs take place in notable wilderness fishing destinations across North America, including the Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and locations in Colorado and Wyoming. Participants build fly fishing skills while camping and taking part in backcountry experiences. Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions also offers parent-child trips and custom wilderness adventures for families, schools, and other groups, tailoring experiences to their needs. Through its programs, the company brings together recreation, education, and conservation in memorable outdoor settings.
