Lily's Ranch and Rescue

Lily’s Ranch and Rescue is an animal rescue and sanctuary founded by Trey and Laurie Beattie. Based in Auburn, Kentucky, the organization began in Colorado in 2017, building on more than a decade of the founders’ experience fostering and rehabilitating animals. Inspired by Lily, a miniature mule rescued from a feedlot, the ranch is dedicated to helping neglected, abused, and forgotten animals find safety, compassionate care, and, when possible, loving permanent homes. Equine animals are a specialty, but the rescue welcomes animals of all kinds that need help.

Lily’s Ranch and Rescue rehabilitates animals and works to rehome those ready for family life. Animals unable to be adopted because of health or other challenges can remain in the sanctuary, where they receive ongoing care. Visitors can learn about the animals and arrange a visit, while supporters can contribute through donations, sponsorships, or memorials. The organization also welcomes volunteers and shares updates through its blog.
