Liminal Haven Group LLC

Liminal Haven Group LLC is a mission-driven housing organization serving Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland counties in Western Pennsylvania. It provides transitional housing and Level I sober living for people seeking a stable foundation as they rebuild their lives. Its affordable residences are drug- and alcohol-free and designed to support recovery, independence, and long-term stability through peer-led accountability, a resident-driven recovery culture, and community support.

The organization serves individuals in recovery, young adults, transitional residents, seniors and elders, people experiencing homelessness, re-entry populations, aged-out foster youth, unhoused veterans, and parents and families. It also works with homeless service providers, churches, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners. Resources include access to transportation and employment opportunities, alongside a safe environment that encourages personal growth and accountability.

Founded by Christine Monteith White, with support from her husband, Stephen K. White, Liminal Haven Group draws on family experience with foster care, trauma, and addiction. Its mission is to help residents move forward with dignity, hope, and purpose.
