LiMSA has been established in 1989. Since 1991, LiMSA has been a member of International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). LiMSA mission is to unite Lithuanian medical students , help them gain ethical and humanistic skills, acquire ultimate professional knowledge in order to become good specialists, active citizens and members of the national and global society. LiMSA has 6 active standing committees (SCOPE, SCORE, SCOME, SCORP, SCOPH, SCORA), which work in local, national and international levels.

About Lithuanian Medical Students' Association
Lietuvos medicinos studentų asociacija (LiMSA) is a non-profit organization that has been uniting and representing biomedical students in Vilnius and Kaunas for over 30 years. Their main goal is to advocate for the opinions and ensure comprehensive education of future healthcare professionals.
