Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports is an accredited, non-profit multi-service agency serving children, youth and families in Chatham-Kent. Supported by local, provincial and federal funding, Linck brings a range of evidence-based services together to promote children’s safety, well-being and development. Its work is delivered in partnership with parents, caregivers and community organizations, with a commitment to equitable, culturally aligned services and to reconciliation, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Linck provides child and youth mental health support, including individual, family and group counselling for emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties. Its developmental services support infants and children through early identification and intervention. The agency also has a legal mandate to protect children and youth and accepts reports about protection concerns 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When children cannot safely remain at home, Linck supports kinship care with extended family, friends or community members, and provides foster care when kin are unavailable. Adoption is considered as a route to lasting connections for children and youth in care.
