Line Gulsett

Line Gulsett is a professional fine artist whose practice explores colour, materials, and contemporary experience through paintings, drawings, and experimental works. Her portfolio includes oil paintings on canvas, pigment-based mixed media, and paintings combining oil paint with copper-based acrylic. Recent work considers themes such as virtual reality and the “Meta generation,” while other pieces reflect on periods of difficulty and change.

Gulsett also creates distinctive works using unconventional materials and formats, including Polaroid photographs embellished with nail polish. Her “Nailpolish paintings” and capsule works form part of a body of art developed during the Covid-19 period. The website presents selections of her drawings, paintings, Polaroids, and nail-polish works, alongside updates on works in progress and new exhibitions.

Her work has been shown at Torch Gallery in Amsterdam, including a painting made for the gallery’s 40th-anniversary exhibition. For questions about artworks and availability, visitors are directed to contact her galleries. Her website also shares news about current projects and recent work.
