About LINKAGES-UG
Linkages is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering women and youth in rural and remote areas through sustainable business ventures. Our focus is on creating impactful change by providing access to financial resources and training opportunities that traditional institutions often overlook.
Our primary beneficiaries are women and youth involved in Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), enabling them to start and grow local businesses within their communities. Additionally, our secondary beneficiaries benefit from employment opportunities and educational support.
Led by founder Penny Mbabazi, our team of dedicated professionals includes field coordinators, financial consultants, and trainers with extensive experience in the financial sector. Through tailored training programs and mentorship, we aim to bridge the gap between policy and practice, ultimately fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda.
