Linnaeus

Linnaeus.world is a publishing platform and digital archive designed to preserve and present documents for scholars and curious readers. Its goal is to create a simple, visually appealing repository where important materials can be organized and explored. Developed collaboratively by scholars and technologists, the platform brings together scholarly research, concept-based analysis, information architecture, and digital publishing. It organizes collections around both ideas and documents, helping visitors navigate materials through linked concepts as well as individual texts.

The site features collections on academic freedom, governing charters of international organizations, and the constitutions of the world’s independent countries. Its academic freedom collection brings together statements on principles and regulations from educational institutions across the United States. The international governance collection explores aspects of organizational structure and mission through charters, while the constitutions collection draws on materials indexed by the Constitute Project. Linnaeus.world’s work combines expertise from the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Chicago, and Psycle Interactive Limited.
