LINPRA, also known as Lietuvos inžinerijos ir technologijų pramonės asociacija, is an association representing the interests of Lithuania's engineering and technology industry sector. Currently, LINPRA brings together about 140 members, including manufacturing companies operating in sectors such as metal, plastic, electronics and electrical engineering, lasers, automotive industry, as well as technology service providers, educational and scientific institutions, and other interested organizations. LINPRA's comprehensive activities aim to enhance the competitiveness and internationalization of companies in the sector.

They assist businesses in implementing digital transformations, updating processes, innovating, developing exports of goods and services, promoting high-value-added solutions and products, ensuring the quality education and training of specialists and employees, and advocating for the voice of the sector's companies, addressing issues and expectations related to the business environment. Furthermore, LINPRA represents the interests of Lithuania's engineering and technology industry at both national and international levels and encourages companies' integration into international value chains. By uniting leading organizations in Lithuania's engineering and technology industry ecosystem, LINPRA promotes progress in the country, adding value and competitiveness, and ensures that the sector keeps pace with the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.

0). In Lithuania, the engineering and technology industry plays a significant role in the country's economy and progress. The turnover of companies in this sector reached €6.

8 billion in 2022, accounting for approximately 6% of Lithuania's GDP. About 75% of engineering industry production is exported, with exports growing by 25% in 2022, reaching €5. 1 billion, which represents about 20% of Lithuania's total exports.

The engineering industry sector consists of around 1,900 companies employing about 57,000 people, with an average salary 12% higher than the national average. LINPRA's subsidiary, InTechCentras, operates as a SMART Manufacturing competence center and offers various activities such as organizing technological and engineering training programs and projects, providing engineering and management consulting services, facilitating international project collaboration, implementing solutions to enhance production efficiency and productivity related to Industry 4. 0, and more.

Organizations operating within Lithuania's engineering and technology industry ecosystem, including manufacturing companies, engineering service companies, educational and scientific institutions, related clusters, and other associations interested in the development, strengthening, and increasing competitiveness of this sector, are welcome to become LINPRA members. LINPRA represents its members' interests and the entire engineering and technology industry sector, maintains relationships with relevant authorities and structures in Lithuania and Europe, and works towards improving the business environment, fostering a favorable education system, and promoting export development.
