Lintukerho Larus ry is a birdwatching club serving bird enthusiasts in the southern Oulu region of Finland. The association supports local interest in birds through events, shared activities, observation information, and conservation initiatives. Its website provides resources for both experienced birders and people discovering the hobby, including guidance on birdwatching, local birding sites, and bird observations across municipalities such as Alavieska, Haapajärvi, Kalajoki, Nivala, Pyhäjärvi, Reisjärvi, Sievi, and Ylivieska.

Visitors can explore observation reports, notable sightings, first records, winter bird counts, and information on reporting their own sightings. Larus also organizes birding events, including the annual Eloralli, a team bird-counting competition held in a different local area, as well as activities for families and children, such as participation in Children’s Bird Week. The club promotes practical conservation through volunteer work, including clearing overgrown shoreline vegetation, and shares information about injured birds and bird protection.

Its website also features articles, blogs, research-related material, and trip reports, helping connect local birders and encourage knowledge of the region’s birdlife
