Liobas

Liobas is the sustainability communications studio of Lioba Degenfelder, an environmental protection engineer (FH) who helps turn ecological knowledge into practical action. Its work focuses on strategies and communication for ecological sustainability, with a particular emphasis on species conservation and the relationship between people and their natural surroundings. Liobas aims to make solutions visible, build public engagement and support lasting changes in attitudes and behaviour.

The studio develops projects and assembles interdisciplinary teams through a network of professionals including ecologists, filmmakers, designers and artists. Services include project development, stakeholder management, public relations, event and dialogue moderation, keynote speaking, video production, exhibitions, educational trails, conferences and events. Communication is tailored to audiences and designed to encourage constructive exchange and shared solutions.

Liobas’s projects include a sustainable land-leasing advisory service, a travelling exhibition exploring the sounds of Bavarian cultural landscapes, an explanatory video about nature conservation funding, dialogue events for women in rural areas, and a reflective trail about species loss.
