In Nederland zijn ruim 10.000 Lions in meer dan 430 Lionsclubs actief. Zij zetten zich in voor kwetsbare doelgroepen en voor thema's als diabetes, honger/armoede, blindheid/oogziekten, honger/armoede, duurzame leefomgeving en kinderkanker.

About Lions
Lionsclubs Nederland | Gorinchem is a brand dedicated to making a positive impact on others. With over 1. 4 million members worldwide for more than 100 years, they have been actively involved in helping communities.
In the Netherlands alone, there are over 10,000 Lions in more than 430 Lionsclubs. These clubs focus on supporting vulnerable groups and addressing issues like diabetes, hunger/poverty, blindness/eye diseases, sustainable living environment, and childhood cancer. Every Lions and Leoclub is committed to various charitable causes such as diabetes, visual impairment, hunger, sustainability, and childhood cancer.
They collect coffee points for food banks and foreign/old currencies for eye operations in developing countries. Additionally, Lions organize the highly regarded Peace Poster Contest for children worldwide.
