Lipizzaner

Lipizzanerstamboek Vereniging Nederland (LVN) is a Dutch association dedicated to the Lipizzaner horse and its studbook. Its website provides information about the organisation, its origins, membership, statutes and regulations, and frequently asked questions, helping members and enthusiasts learn about the association and the breed. Visitors can explore a Lipizzaner breed description, information on the breed’s stallion lines, and details about approved breeding stallions.

A central activity is the association’s annual Lipizzaner inspection, where owners can present their horses for assessment and enthusiasts can meet to celebrate the breed. LVN also invites owners to contribute demonstrations or shows during inspection events and provides practical information about horse registration, categories, stabling and event arrangements. The association holds general members’ meetings and shares news and calendar updates. Its website includes a “for sale” section, connecting visitors with Lipizzaners offered for sale. Through its studbook information, events and membership activities, LVN supports a community of people interested in preserving and promoting Lipizzaner horses in the Netherlands.
