GreatFireVPN

GreatFireVPN is a virtual private network developed by GreatFire.org, an anti-censorship organization founded in 2011. It is designed to help people access the open internet in countries with heavy restrictions, including China, Russia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, India and Cuba. The service draws on more than a decade of experience bypassing internet blocks and uses multiple circumvention methods, automatically selecting a connection suited to network conditions. It offers servers in more than 100 locations, including Switzerland, Singapore, Japan and the United States.

GreatFireVPN’s features include split tunneling on Android, local access to selected services while the VPN is active in certain countries, and support for connections during whitelist-based shutdowns in Russia. The company says it does not log online activity or collect personal data, and accounts can be used on up to 10 devices simultaneously. Apps are available for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. New users can try the service free for 30 days without registration or a credit card.
