Lisa Marie is a welcoming restaurant in Coburg’s historic centre, a short walk from the market square. Founded by host Lisa Knorr, the restaurant combines personal hospitality with the cooking of chef René, who has worked at the Steingasse address for ten years. The menu is deliberately compact and changes every three to four weeks, featuring seasonal dishes such as beetroot carpaccio, roast beef and baked pumpkin.
Guests can also enjoy AKI caviar, oysters from Ireland’s Dungarvan Bay, and dry-aged steaks made with German meat, including regional beef and pork. The drinks list includes wines from Franconia, the Palatinate and South Africa, alongside sparkling wines, cocktails and alcohol-free options. Desserts feature ice cream from Coburg’s Eiscafé Adria.
Lisa Marie serves lunch Wednesday to Friday and dinner Tuesday to Friday, as well as on the first Saturday of each month. Visitors can reserve a table, browse the current menus, or purchase gift vouchers for experiences such as caviar, oysters or a dinner with wine pairing.
