About LISS panel
The LISS Panel, established in 2007 by the independent non-profit institute Centerdata at Tilburg University, serves as a vital resource for scientific research and policy-making. By providing access to extensive data through online surveys, the panel primarily assists researchers in social, economic, and behavioral sciences, while also catering to disciplines such as health, humanities, and digital sciences.
Managed by a dedicated team, including experts from Tilburg University and its affiliated institutions, the LISS Panel is a core component of ODISSEI (Open Data Infrastructure for Social Science and Economic Innovations). This initiative facilitates collaboration among more than 40 member organizations, enhancing research capabilities through large-scale longitudinal data and registered data from Statistics Netherlands.
The LISS Panel not only enables researchers to gather new data efficiently but also offers a data archive for existing research materials. With its commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research and innovation, the LISS Panel plays a crucial role in shaping the landscape of social science research in the Netherlands and beyond.
