Lissy and Rudi

Lissy and Rudi Robinson-Cole are a husband-and-wife team of crochet artists from Aotearoa, New Zealand. Since joining creative forces in 2014, they have used crochet to bring together art, culture and community, sharing stories of heritage, resilience, love and joy through their work. Their projects include The Joyride, collaborative exhibitions across New Zealand, and Wharenui Harikoa, an ambitious work that reflects their vision of intergenerational healing and shared joy.

The artists invite visitors to explore their creations, learn about their workshops and take part in a creative world where each stitch carries meaning. Their online shop offers art and homewares, including a limited-edition Harikoa blanket made from 100% New Zealand merino wool, art prints, clothing, children’s apparel, melamine platters and bowls. Inspired by Wharenui Harikoa, these pieces bring colour and connection into everyday spaces.
