Lil' LIT Books is a brand on a mission to share the joy of reading with young readers, specifically focusing on books with black main characters. The founder, Shardae Robinson, created Lil' LIT Books out of her own desire to engage her son in reading. Recognizing the lack of easily accessible books featuring young black characters, she established a one-stop-shop for children's books that highlight diversity and representation.
Not only does Lil' LIT Books offer a wide selection of picture books, middle-grade novels, and young adult literature, but they also provide a unique value-add through their #LITBookBundles. These bundles go beyond just the products and aim to share a little nugget of joy and black culture with young readers. By offering books that feature kids who look and act like them, Lil' LIT Books fosters a love for reading and promotes inclusivity.
Parents, kids, family members, and friends can find immense joy in giving and receiving these books, bringing Shardae Robinson's vision to life. Stay connected with Lil' LIT Books and their mission to spread the joy of black LIT!
