Literary Kitchen

Literary Kitchen is a creative writing organisation offering courses, mentoring and manuscript support for writers at different stages of their development. Its programme includes Creative Writing for Beginners, Writers Workout, Writers Workshop and Novel in a Year, alongside manuscript services and a Novel Clinic. The organisation also hosts literary events, including Lit Live!, Litcrawl, Testspace, World Book Night and the E: 343 Why I Write Festival, and provides resources such as links and reading lists.

Literary Kitchen highlights the achievements of its alumni, whose work has been published, performed, shortlisted for prizes and recognised by writing programmes. Alumni include historical crime fiction author Anna Mazzola, memoirist Doreen Cunningham and short story writer Emma Hutton. The site also reports success stories from writers whose pieces began in its courses and workshops, with recognition from literary prizes, magazines and events.
